Riding Pedagogy

Basic training in riding pedagogy for trainers, pedagogues and anyone interested in using the horse as a medium in their work. Riding pedagogy covers the playful encounter with the horse in its natural environment and offers a broad spectrum of experiences "around the horse", "with the horse" and "on the horse".

The training uses group experiences with the horse to develop personality and social competencies. It supports positive development of children's motor skills and perception in the areas of gross and fine motor skills, coordination, tactile perception and deep sensitivity.

Course costs: 749 EUR. Practical training with horses takes 4 days. Prerequisite is safe handling of horses. Minimum age 18 years.

Upon passing the exam, participants receive the EAA riding pedagogy certificate and the option to take out professional liability insurance. Professional groups with therapeutic training (physiotherapists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists) can work in riding therapy EAT.

The riding pedagogy course is suitable for all professional groups working with horses in the field of pedagogical and social development.
