What is TRIK?

TRIK — Therapeutisches Reiten in Kärnten (Therapeutic Riding in Carinthia) — is a charitable association based in Radenthein, Austria. Founded in 1998 by Dr. med. Christa Walter MAS, TRIK connects the power of horses with pedagogy, therapy and sport.

What does TRIK do?

TRIK is a Europe-wide recognised provider of training and education in equine-assisted activities:

• Riding Pedagogy (EAA) — Training for pedagogues who work with horses and people
• Riding Therapy (EAT) — Qualification for therapeutic professionals (physiotherapists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists)
• 15+ Specialisations — From autism trainer to burnout coach, dyslexia trainer to dementia care
• Para-Equestrian — Horse sport for people with disabilities, including classification by FEI Classifier Dr. Christa Walter
• Therapeutic Riding — Hippotherapy, dementia care, burnout prevention, addiction therapy
• Children's Programmes — Holiday camps, learning groups, seasonal events

All training courses are available online and in person at the therapy horse farm in Radenthein, Carinthia.
